Cape Lookout has been one of our favorite places to visit and explore. Sometimes the clear water, sand and views can be as beautiful as a Caribbean island.
During our last two summer and fall trips we started discussing purchasing a vacation home on the coast. After browsing the real estate market we found that prices for coastal 
property in North Carolina had increased rapidly as in most coastal areas.So ....... I mentioned to Bonnie that we should consider a trawler. Her first response was 'What's a trawler?' After my explaination that is was a sea worhy vessel that we could liveaboard during our vacations to the coast, she was all for it.
And our search began.
